Russian private airline S7 Airlines approached us to develop a promotional campaign for their value-added services. The experience of comfortable travel had to be visualised through an emphasis on the individuality of passengers: Everyone is used to and comfortable with something of their own, and S7 understands this.

We created a set of 3D characters and placed them in different travel settings at the airport.

In their creation, we put special emphasis on materiality: Clothes, hair, personal belongings, soft textures, and glittering surfaces are all shown as realistically as possible.

Characters are designed to fit the groups of the target audience. A thoughtful grandmother with extra luggage, where all the gifts for her grandchildren will definitely fit. A girl in the business lounge, collecting likes while waiting for her flight. Or a long-legged guy who simply needs extra space on the plane to stretch out and wear his favourite slippers.

Contrast became an essential principle in the creation of the characters: they are endowed with memorable attributes and accessories, while the shapes of their silhouettes and poses are intentionally simplified.

The characters are minimalist but lively and with vivid characters. Everyone can recognise themselves in these characters.
